Kielce Main Railway Station at 1 Plac Niepodległości is in the city centre - you can reach the National Museum in about 15 minutes on foot. Transport on site in Kielce
You get around Kielce mainly on foot, with public transport buses for longer distances.
Kielce Główne railway station is located at Niepodległości Square, so after leaving the building you will quickly reach the city's main streets. The Market Square, the Old Town and some of the most important museums are within easy walking distance.
The main attractions, restaurants and cafes are within 2 km of the station. For longer distances – for example to residential areas or the outskirts of the city – you use public transport buses. A single ticket costs a few zlotys, a day ticket a dozen or so. If you plan several journeys in a day, a day ticket will be more convenient.
The bus station is close to the railway station, making onward travel straightforward – for example to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains if you are planning a trip outside the city.
Taxis and ride-hailing apps operate outside the station. They are useful when you have luggage or need a late return to your hotel.

National Museum in Kielce

Cave at Kadzielnia

Stefan Żeromski Museum

Museum of the Dialogue of Cultures
