The Władysławowo train station at 5 Towarowa Street is located in the centre of the town, a few minutes from accommodation and the main attractions. You can get here from Gdynia in about 45 minutes, from Gdańsk in about 1.5 hours with one change, and from Warsaw in about 4–4.5 hours via the Tricity.

Spring (March–May)

  • The daytime temperature is 4–16°C. It is too cool for sunbathing, but you can walk along the shore without crowds.

  • Restaurants in the centre are open, and boats dock daily in the fishing harbour.

  • Lower accommodation prices make it a great choice for a weekend getaway.


Summer (June–August)

  • The daytime temperature is 18–24°C, and the Baltic Sea water reaches 18–20°C in July and August.

Getting to Władysławowo by train

Władysławowo is located at the entrance to the Hel Peninsula. You can get here by regional POLREGIO train from Gdynia, Hel or Puck, and from further towns you travel with one change in Gdynia Główna.

From Puck to Władysławowo

  • The shortest route to Władysławowo - you take about 11 minutes by POLREGIO train.

  • You travel without changing trains.

  • If you are commuting from the Tricity, you can change trains in Puck.


From Hel to Władysławowo

  • You travel from Hel to Władysławowo in about 35 minutes by POLREGIO train.

  • On both sides of the tracks you can see the sea - the Baltic Sea on one side and the Bay of Puck on the other.

  • There are more courses in summer than in the low season.


From Gdynia to Władysławowo

  • You take a POLREGIO train from Gdynia Główna station to Władysławowo in about 45 minutes.

  • On this route you travel without changing trains.

  • In Gdynia, you change trains if you start from Gdańsk, Warsaw and other cities.


From Gdańsk to Władysławowo

  • From Gdańsk to Władysławowo you travel approximately 1.5 hours with one change in Gdynia Główna.

  • The Gdańsk-Gdynia section takes several minutes, then you take a POLREGIO train to Władysławowo.

  • You change trains only once, at the same station.


From Warsaw to Władysławowo

  • On the route from Warsaw to Władysławowo you travel about 4-4.5 hours with a change of trains in Gdynia or Gdańsk.

  • From Warsaw to Tricity you take a PKP Intercity train, then change to a POLREGIO train to Władysławowo.

  • The shortest journey is when you change trains in Tricity, which only takes a few minutes or so.


You can buy tickets for all sections on Europodróże without registering - your ticket is sent to your e-mail and SMS, and 30 minutes before departure you receive an SMS reminder with a link to your ticket. The earlier you buy, the greater the choice of seats and the better the prices, especially in July and August. Transport on site in Wladyslawowo

From Wladyslawowo station you can walk to the centre, the promenade and most accommodation in a few minutes. The main attractions - Dom Do Góry Nogami, the Museum of Wax Figures and restaurants - are all within walking distance of the station. You can get around Władysławowo mainly on foot.

From Władysławowo Port station you can reach the beach in about a dozen minutes, and the fishing and tourist port is right next door.

In the summer season there are local buses connecting Władysławowo with surrounding towns. Taxis can be found at railway stations and in the centre. In the low season, local transport is limited, so you will usually get around on foot or by taxi.

You will cycle on flat terrain without steep climbs. In high season, bicycle rentals are available in the centre and at the promenade, and you can take the cycle route along the Hel Peninsula to Chałup and Kuźnica.

By train you can also reach Hel and Puck.

What to see in Wladyslawowo - main attractions

Upside Down House

A few minutes' walk from Władysławowo station. An upside-down house where all the furniture and appliances hang overhead. The tour takes 45-60 minutes. There is an entrance fee. If you want to avoid the queue, come in the morning.


Museum of Wax Figures

Near the Władysławowo train station, on the main street. There is an entrance fee and the tour takes 30-45 minutes. This is a good option for a rainy day.


Fishing and tourist port

Next to Władysławowo Port station. The walk is free. In the morning you'll see boats moored, fish unloading and fresh fish stalls. In high season you can also buy tickets for cruises on the Bay of Puck here.


Promenade and beaches

A few minutes' walk from Władysławowo Port station. The beaches are wide and sandy with guarded bathing beaches in season. Along the promenade there are benches and refreshment points overlooking the sea.


Plan for day 1

In the morning, choose to walk around the fishing harbour when the boats are moored. Before noon, visit the Upside Down House or the Museum of Wax Figures. In the afternoon, go to the beach and the promenade. In the evening, have dinner at a fish restaurant by the harbour.


Plan for the weekend

Day 1: You can arrange the first day in the same way as the 1-day plan.

Day 2: On the second day, choose a train trip to Hel - you'll see the lighthouse, the Sealarium and the beaches. You can also go to Puck, where the market square, the Puck Land Museum and views of the Puck Bay await.

What to eat

Herring, cod and flounder - they come to the fryer at the harbour straight from the boats. In Władysławowo you will eat some of the freshest fish on the Polish coast.

Fried fish with fries and salad - in fryeries and fish bars by the harbour, open from early morning. You will pay from a dozen to several dozen zlotys for a portion. In high season, queues are shorter before noon.

Smoked fish and canned fish - mackerel, sprat and eel - available by the harbour. Vacuum-packed products stand up well to transport.


Where to eat:

  • Fish fryers and bars by the harbour - open from early morning, freshest fish, lower prices than on the promenade

  • Restaurants and cafes on the promenade - sea view, higher prices, waffle, ice cream and coffee takeaway outlets in the evening
