No. Your PKP discounts (e.g. statutory discounts, student/school discounts, Large Family Card) are not recognised by foreign train operators.

Deutsche Bahn

DB only recognises discounts on the basis of its own cards. Polish discounts are not recognised.

Children under the age of 6 travel for free, as long as they do not occupy their own seat and are entered on the ticket of at least one adult.

Children aged 6-14 can get a 50% discount.

Seniors 65+ can buy tickets at the reduced Sparpreis and Super Sparpreis fares.

Discounts on international connections are often possible with Sparpreis and Super Sparpreis offers, which allow tickets to be purchased at significantly lower prices.

Eurostar

Eurostar offers special fares for certain age groups.

Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge (without a seat of their own), and children aged 4-11 have tickets around 30-50% cheaper in Standard and Plus classes.

Special Youth Fare for 12-25 year old s and Senior Fare for those aged 60 and over are available.

TGV/SNCF

Discounts are mainly possible with the purchase of the French Carte Avantage discount cards, which come in three variants:Jeune (12-27 years), Adulte (27-59 years) and Senior (60 years and over). Each guarantees a discount on TGV INOUI and Intercités. SNCF also offers promotional fares (e.g. Prem's) available without a card.

Renfe

Renfe recognises discounts on the basis of its own cards and programmes. This includes, for example, the special Tarjeta Dorada card for senior citizens (60 years and over) and various youth cards that offer discounts on Spanish connections.

Trenitalia

On long-distance trains (Frecce, InterCity), children under the age of 4 travel free (without their own seat) and children aged 4-14 have a 50% discount on the base fare (also on regional trains). Seniors (60 years and older) can use the Carta d'Argento (Silver Card), which offers discounts on domestic and international travel.

České dráhy

ČD honours discounts on the basis of its own cards (e.g. In Karta). Statutory discounts are also available for children, pupils, students and people aged 65 and over. Special discount offers are also available for group and weekend journeys within the country.

Ukrainian Railways

Discounts apply only to children and Ukrainian students. Children under 6 years of age travel for free (without their own seat). Children aged 6-14 have discounted tickets.
