The type of discount when purchasing a train ticket is influenced by factors such as age, nationality and the possession and validity of the documents needed to benefit from the selected discount. The most popular discounts for online rail ticket sales include:

• Normal fare - for travellers without discounts
• Children/young people - children and young people aged between 4 and 24 with a valid Polish school card
• Children up to 4 years - infants and children up to 4 years of age
• Students - Students up to 26 years of age with a valid Polish or ISIC identity card and permanent residence card in Poland
• Doctoral students - Doctoral students up to the age of 35 with a valid doctoral card
• Seniors - Travellers over 60 years of age
