POLREGIO - timetable

POLREGIO's timetable is the heart of the national network of regional connections. The carrier connects large cities, smaller towns and villages in every corner of Poland, making it possible to commute to work, school or university every day. Regular trains run between the largest regional centres such as Wrocław, Gdańsk, Kraków, Poznań, Białystok or Rzeszów, also serving dozens of smaller stops along the way.

In the south of Poland, POLREGIO trains run between Cracow, Tarnów and Rzeszów, but also in the border direction, e.g. to Krynica-Zdrój or Sanok. In the north, these are mainly routes connecting the Tricity with Elbląg, Malbork and Słupsk. In the centre, regional courses serve traffic between Łódź and Piotrków Trybunalski, Tomaszów Mazowiecki or Skarżysko-Kamienna. In the west, the dominant routes are Zielona Góra - Gorzów Wlkp. and Głogów - Leszno , and in the east: Białystok - Hajnówka, Lublin - Dęblin or Chełm - Zamość.

POLREGIO trains run throughout the day - from early morning (approx. 4:00-5:00) to late evening (22:00-23:00). The greatest number of courses fall on the morning and afternoon traffic peaks, corresponding to the hours of commuting to work and school. Some routes are operated hourly, others several times a day. Timetables are tailored to the needs of local communities and additional courses are introduced at times of peak traffic, such as holidays or the holiday season.

Seasonal connections and new routes

The carrier POLREGIO is expanding its network of connections in many regions in order to respond even better to the needs of travellers. The new timetable introduces new relations, extends existing routes and adds more stops to the map of connections. The frequency of services during peak hours has also been increased, making daily travel easier.

For example, in the Dolnośląskie (Lower Silesian) voivodeship, the route Wrocław Główny - Namysłów will be extended as far as Kluczbork, and on routes such as Głogów - Leszno trains will run daily. In Lubelskie Voivodeship, the frequency of trains will be increased on routes Lublin Główny - Łuków Łapiguz or Zamość Wschód - Zawada. In the Łódzkie voivodeship, the operation of line 146 Częstochowa-Chorzew Siemkowice was reinstated after a 12-year break. In Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship, on the other hand, there will be an additional connection Szczecin Główny-Piła Główna-Bydgoszcz Główna.

In the Lublin region, POLREGIO operates a connection from Chełm to Włodawa - ideal for a day trip to the area around Lake Białe or the Sobiborski Landscape Park. Seasonal services are also available in the region on the Lublin - Jarosław and Lublin - Belzec routes.

It is also possible to travel to the mountains by train - an example is the daily Opole - Wisła Głębce route operated by the "Malinka" trainset, which is popular with tourists visiting the Beskidy Mountains.
