Question 1

Can I change the departure time after buying a ticket?

Accepted Answer

You can change the departure time online if the conditions of the ticket allow it. In PolishTrains, you can select the ticket exchange option and check the possibilities available for your booking.

Question 2

I cannot open the ticket file – what should I do?

Accepted Answer

If the ticket file will not open, use the ticket sent by SMS or available in the PolishTrains app. If you have a problem with both versions, prepare your booking details and contact the service’s support team.

Question 3

Why did I pay more than the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

The price shown in the PolishTrains service already includes the service fee and is the final amount, so nothing is added at payment. The service fee is non-refundable when a ticket is refunded.

Question 4

Self-service return failed – how do I return a ticket through a consultant?

Accepted Answer

If the self-service refund does not work, report the matter to a PolishTrains consultant and provide your booking details. Support will check the ticket and indicate how to proceed with the refund.

Question 5

Can you check connections in the PKP timetable?

Accepted Answer

You can check whether a change is required while searching for a connection in PolishTrains. Before purchase, you can analyse the options for the selected route and choose a service that matches your travel plans.

Question 6

How do I check whether there are free seats on the train?

Accepted Answer

After entering the stations and date in PolishTrains, you can choose a specific service and train category. The option to purchase a ticket depends on the current offer for the selected connection.
