RegioJet connections in Poland

RegioJet offers an attractive route network, which is expanding from month to month. Initially, the carrier provided the route from Cracow to Warsaw, which was a pilot connection. Thanks to strong interest from travellers, the Czech operator's timetable is set to increase with new courses in the near future. From December 2025, passengers will be able to travel from Warsaw to Poznań, from Cracow via Warsaw to Gdynia or from Warsaw via Ostrava to Prague. As for the last connection, the carrier is planning stops in several locations in Poland and the Czech Republic, such as Zawiercie, Pyrzowice, Tarnowskie Góry, Gliwice, Racibórz, Bogumin, Ostrava, Hranice, Olomouc, Zábřeh and Pardubice.

What is the RegioJet offer in terms of journey times? Travellers have nothing to complain about, as the carrier provides modern trainsets that quickly cover both domestic and foreign routes. For example, the journey from Cracow to Warsaw takes less than three hours. On the other hand, the connection from Cracow to Prague is only 6 hours.

RegioJet international routes

Although the main focus is on connections between Poland and the Czech Republic, RegioJet is steadily expanding its network with further international destinations. From Prague, it is possible to continue to Olomouc, Brno, Vienna, Bratislava or further - as far as Budapest.

Also planned are routes connecting Poland with Germany and Austria, including Warsaw - Poznań - Berlin and Gdynia - Warsaw - Katowice - Ostrava - Vienna. In turn, the Przemyśl - Cracow - Ostrava - Brzeclaw - Vienna route will allow passengers from south-eastern Poland to reach the Austrian capital without changing trains.

The expansion of the network of connections is intended to create a coherent offer connecting the largest agglomerations of Central Europe within a single timetable.

RegioJet routes in Poland - planned destinations

The development of RegioJet in Poland includes not only the maintenance of current courses, but also intensive preparations for the expansion of the offer. Among the plans are connections to the north of the country and to the western regions of Poland, which will connect local transport hubs with the Czech rail network.

Among the announced routes are:

● Bogumin - Warsaw - Gdańsk - Gdynia,

● Gliwice - Warsaw - Gdańsk - Gdynia,

● Rybnik - Warsaw - Gdańsk - Gdynia,

● Warsaw - Poznań - Szczecin,

● Warsaw - Poznań - Wrocław,

● Gdynia - Gdańsk - Warsaw - Katowice - Ostrava - Prague.

Some of these are seasonal, others will be operated on a daily schedule. The carrier's aim is to increase the availability of connections on north-south and west-east routes, which will allow Poles to move between regions more easily without having to take domestic flights or make routes by car.

Frequency of RegioJet trains

RegioJet is systematically increasing the number of connections on domestic and international routes, adapting the offer to the growing interest of travellers. Currently, trains run daily, with morning and afternoon departures on major routes such as Kraków - Prague and Warsaw - Ostrava - Prague. As the network grows, the carrier plans to significantly increase the frequency of services, e.g. up to three pairs of trains a day are to appear between Warsaw and Wrocław, and the Warsaw-Poznań-Szczecin and Warsaw-Poznań-Berlin connections are to operate on a daily basis.

According to the company's plans, the intensification of traffic is to begin with the 2026/2027 timetable. During the holiday seasons, the carrier is also announcing additional courses, including connections to northern Polish cities, including Gdynia, Gdańsk and Gliwice. Such a system is expected to provide greater travel flexibility and reduce waiting time for a convenient connection. RegioJet stresses that in the future it aims to achieve the regularity typical of national operators - with daily courses in the key morning and evening hours.
