Weekend promotions at Intercity
A quick, spontaneous weekend trip to another city? PKP Intercity encourages you to use the railways on these very days. While there have been dedicated weekend offers in the past, today the carrier integrates such savings into other year-round solutions that are ideal for weekend travel.
If you're looking for bargains on short trips, Intercity's weekend promotions are something to look out for. As part of the weekend offer, you can buy discounted tickets for journeys starting from Friday evening to Monday morning, making a trip out of town more affordable. Although Intercity's official sources do not currently detail a dedicated promotion called 'Weekend', Super Promo offers often include weekend fares.
Holiday and seasonal promotions at PKP Intercity
The period of summer holidays, winter holidays or long weekends is when Intercity's holiday promotions are most popular. The carrier increases the pool of connections every year and encourages people to plan their trips in advance with special seasonal offers, which are often cumulative with other discounts.
One of the most stable and versatile offers worth taking advantage of for intercity ticket promotions during the holidays is Cheap with Relatives. This offer is aimed at small groups of 2 to 6 people travelling together. The discount from this offer is usually 30%.
Remember to buy your tickets some time in advance (at least 7 days before departure). This is ideal for families, friends or couples planning a holiday together at the seaside, in the mountains or on the Masurian Lake District.
Intercity - promotions and discounts for seniors
Seniors are a group of passengers for whom PKP Intercity has prepared some of the best regular offers, but you can also catch occasional promotions.
You can check the departure times of specific Pendolino services, including those covered by a promotion, in the PolishTrains search engine after entering the route and date. You can check the availability of Super Promo tickets in the PolishTrains search engine or on intercity.pl – promotional tickets are marked when selecting the fare. For example, the Journey for PLN for Seniors promotion, valid on 20 October every year, allows people over 60 to use TLK, IC, EIC or EIP journeys for a symbolic amount of PLN 1.
