Chojnice railway station is one of the most important transport hubs in Pomerania. It is located on Dworcowa Street in the south-eastern part of the city. The station has operated continuously since 1873 and over more than 150 years has gained the status of a strategic point on Poland's railway map.

In February 2024, a major renovation of the facility was completed, through which PKP Chojnice station regained its former splendour and was adapted to the needs of modern passengers (including those with disabilities). The PLN 24 million investment included the creation of a modern, spacious waiting room, new ticket offices, toilets, a PolRegio video machine, lifts and passages for people with reduced mobility.
The station has five platforms connected by an underground passage, and in its vicinity there is MZK Chojnice public transport, facilitating quick access to the city centre and other districts.
