Question 1

Does TLK have open-plan carriages?

Accepted Answer

TLK trains may have both compartment and open-plan carriages, depending on the train formation. On PolishTrains, you can select a TLK service on the Katowice - Żmigród route, but it is worth confirming the exact carriage layout with the carrier.

Question 2

What if I miss my train?

Accepted Answer

After missing a train, a ticket usually does not entitle you to travel on another service; the rules depend on the carrier and type of ticket. On PolishTrains, you can buy a ticket for a later connection if one is available.

Question 3

Why do I see two payments for one ticket?

Accepted Answer

Two entries in your account history may indicate a funds hold and the actual charge, or a repeated payment. On PolishTrains, do not make another transaction before checking the order status and your bank account history.

Question 4

Can I check changes in the PKP timetable?

Accepted Answer

You can check changes by searching for a connection between the departure and destination stations for your chosen date. On PolishTrains, you will see the available travel options, and some services between Katowice and Żmigród run without a change.

Question 5

How can I check whether there are seats available on the train?

Accepted Answer

Available seats depend on the service selected and the carrier’s current sales. On PolishTrains, you can select an available connection and proceed to buy a ticket with a seat reservation if the train provides one.
