However, if you don't have the whole weekend, we have prepared an itinerary that will take you through Wrocław's attractions such as the Market Square, Plac Solny and Ostrów Tumski in just a few hours . These are some of the most important sights in Wrocław that you must see!

We start our journey by getting off at Wrocław Główny station. The first surprise is the neo-Gothic architecture of the building with castle-like elements such as towers. Wrocław Główny Station has served as a film set for many productions. It can be seen, for example, in the film "Bridge of Spies", directed by S. Spielberg. From there we set off to see the first attraction on our tourist trail -📍National Forum Muzyki⤵️

This state-of-the-art concert hall opened in 2015. The unique shape of the building is reminiscent of a musical instrument - it resembles a resonance box. Inside there are up to four concert halls, with the largest of them accommodating more than 1,800 people and being one of the best acoustically in Europe! Wrocław Market Square is one of the largest in Europe, and at its heart is the Gothic Town Hall, which conceals one of the oldest city museums in Poland. On the façade of the Town Hall you can see an astronomical clock from 1580, and hidden in the tower is the symbol of Wrocław - the figure of the bell-ringer. It is a picturesque place with floral stalls that are a tourist attraction in the city. Formerly the site of the salt trade, today Salt Square is famous for its 24-hour flower shops. Beneath the square is a secret Cold War-era shelter that can accommodate up to several hundred people. Then it's on to a place with a completely different vibe 📍 To the Neon Gallery Side⤵️

The Wrocław Neon Gallery is one of the few such places in Poland with such a** rich collection of neon signs from the communist era.** One of the neon signs comes from the former Wrocław chocolate pump room and is fully functional after renovation. Sand Island, separated from the rest of the city by the Oder River, was once the main point for transporting goods by water. It takes its name from the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Piasek, which towers over the island. It houses an unusual library - the only one in Poland connected to the church, which can also be visited by water. The oldest district of Wrocław, where we will see unique monuments. We are led to it by the Tumski Bridge known as the Bridge of Lovers, where padlocks are traditionally hung to symbolise the permanence of feelings. It is also the part of the city where gas lanterns are lit by hand every evening, and St John the Baptist Cathedral has a chapel whose ceiling is decorated with real meteorites. Next up is Poland's most famous panorama, we head to 📍 Panorama Museum Racławickiej⤵️

It features a monumental painting depicting the Battle of Racławice. The panorama is 114 metres long and 15 metres high, and thanks to special lighting and an artificial perspective, the viewer gets the impression of being right in the middle of the events. It is worth seeing! After the tour, we head towards the last attraction on our itinerary, which shows the city from a completely new perspective - we go to 📍Hydropolis⤵️

The Water Knowledge Centre, which is housed in a former clean water reservoir. Not only is it an interesting place to visit, but it is also an interactive museum where you can see a replica of the Trieste bathyscaphe, which was the first manned vehicle to reach the deepest point on Earth - the Challenger Deep, at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. This concludes our tour and we return to📍 Central Station.

By train, of course! Fast connections to Wrocław from many cities in Poland and the central location of the railway station in Wrocław make the train an excellent travel option. Trains to Wrocław run from most large and medium-sized cities in Poland. The easiest connections you will find are: Warsaw-Wrocław, Poznań-Wrocław, Kraków-Wrocław, Katowice-Wrocław. The Pendolino train between Warsaw and Wrocław takes just over 3.5 hours.
