Walking around the market square with its historic tenements and undergrounds, you will feel the atmosphere of the old times. On the other hand, the modern face of the city is emphasised by the unusual construction of the Round Footbridge. While in Rzeszów, you should not miss the Monument to the Revolutionary Deed (Monument Czynu Rewolucyjny), which has stirred up a lot of emotions for years.
2. RZESZÓW - WHAT TO SEE IN ONE DAY?
We start our walk at📍Central Station. Located on Dworcowy Square, it is an important transport hub and gateway to Rzeszów. Built in 1858 as part of the Galician Railway, it has survived turbulent times. Despite modernisation, it has retained its original architectural style, which is well worth seeing. 2.1 Circular footbridge

The circular footbridge over the intersection of Piłsudskiego Avenue and Grunwaldzka Street in Rzeszów attracts tourists with its unusual shape. Commissioned in 2012, it was intended to improve pedestrian safety. The originator of this unusual structure was the then mayor of Rzeszów, Tadeusz Ferenc, hence locals call the investment 'Ferenc 's halo'. 2.2 Town square

This is an absolute must-see on any tour. This is where the social and cultural life of the city as well as its trade were concentrated for centuries. Your attention will certainly be drawn to the Renaissance Town Hall from 1591, today one of the most recognisable symbols of Rzeszów. In turn, the townhouses surrounding the market square are a mixture of architectural styles that show the city's history and changing eras. The Rzeszów Cellars is an Underground Tourist Route created by linking together the city's cellars. As many as 40 rooms, located on three floors, at a depth of 0.5 to 10 metres below the surface of the Market Square. It's impressive, isn't it? You can choose the traditional "Images of History" path with a guide, or the interactive "Legend" path, where with other visitors you will solve tasks and search for the treasure of Rzeszów. 2.4 Museum of Bedtime Cartoons
Who still remembers Reksio, Bolko i Lolek or Gąska Balbinka? The Bedtime Cartoon Museum in Rzeszów is a sentimental journey into the world of iconic cartoons. Here you can see the original film puppets (including Jack and Agatka, Uszatek Bear, Colargol Bear), scripts, decorations, and even everyday items with images of the cartoon characters and the delicacies of the time, such as 'Smurfy' gum. This is a place where older generations return to their childhood, and younger ones discover the classics of Polish animation. 2.5 Art Nouveau villas
We are at the Avenue Under Chestnuts - its name comes from the old chestnut trees that used to grow here. Today, beautiful Art Nouveau villas from the late 19th and early 20th centuries catch the eye. They were designed by renowned architects Karol Hołubowicz and Tadeusz Tekielski, who introduced European architectural trends to Rzeszów. Right next door is the Lubomirski Castle, belonging to one of the most influential magnate families in Poland. The Lubomirski family, as owners of the city for almost 200 years, decided its fate. Their castle used to have a defensive function and today it is the seat of the court. Nearby, you can see the Multimedia Fountain. And coming back to the magnates, we go towards the📍Let**'s Lubomirski Palace** ⤵️.

2.6 Lubomirski Summer Palace

The Lubomirski family left a lasting mark in the history of Rzeszów as patrons of culture and architecture. An example is their summer palace, a pearl of residential architecture. It was erected at the end of the 17th century to serve the entertainments of the Lubomirski court. It was surrounded by an extensive Baroque garden. During World War II, the palace was destroyed, but was later painstakingly rebuilt. Today, despite the changes and reconstructions, the palace and the preserved fragments of the garden and the linden avenue are a valuable reminder and an important point on the tourist map of the city. 2.7. Polish Motherland Unity Park
The park was established in 1975 to celebrate the links between Poles living abroad and their homeland. Its name refers to the idea of community and national solidarity. Trees were planted in the park to commemorate important events or people associated with the Polish community. It is a green book of history that is worth exploring. 2.8 Monument to the Revolutionary Deeds

The Monument to the Revolutionary Deed was designed by Marian Konieczny, author, among others, of the Lenin monument in Nowa Huta. The monument consists of two almost 40-metre-high laurel leaves with sculptures (Nike and a group of worker-peasant-soldiers). It has become both a symbol of the revolution and of Rzeszów itself. Locals jokingly refer to the monument as the 'great screw' or the 'monument to the longing for reason'. We end our walk with a zoological attraction - we go to the📍Papugarnia ⤵️
