The Marian Lutosławski Bridge only in appearance resembles traditional transport infrastructure. In fact, it is an exceptionally charming artistic space. 2.2 Cathedral of St John the Baptist and St John the Evangelist

The monumental church impresses with its Baroque interior and the extraordinary 'Paradise Plafond' in the sacristy. Its construction took nearly 40 years! Interestingly, the illusionistic decoration of the vault creates a visual impression of shape change, depending on perspective. 2.3 Old Town Square

This is the heart of Lublin, surrounded by picturesque townhouses. In the centre is the Main Crown Tribunal, which today serves as a wedding palace. Next to one of the Old Town's tenements is the Stone of Misfortune, which is supposed to bring bad luck. Fortunately, a sign with an image of an executioner warns of its presence. Moving on to the next attraction, you pass the Square after the Fara, where the foundations of the now defunct parish church are visible. Nowadays, cultural events and activities are held here. 2.4 Grodzka (Jewish) Gate

The Grodzka Gate is not only a historical building, but also a symbol of Lublin's multiculturalism. It is one of the first brick elements of the city's fortifications and was built in 1342. It connects the former Jewish quarter with the Christian part of the city. Currently, the "Grodzka Gate - NN Theatre" Centre is located here. 2.5. Lublin Castle

Lublin Castle stands on a hill adjacent to the Old Town. Its history is a series of transformations. From a 12th-century castle, through a royal residence and a 19th-century prison, to a museum. Among the exhibits is the table of the Devil's Paw, associated with the legend of an unjust trial. According to the story, a poor widow lost her case against a rich neighbour, and in despair summoned the devils, who settled the dispute in her favour, leaving a scorch mark of a paw on the table. Cebularz is a culinary treasure of the Lublin region. It is a wheat pancake covered with diced onions mixed with poppy seeds. The name of the square is a reference to the Polish-Lithuanian union, the act of which was signed in Lublin. It is one of the most popular places in the city centre.
