Travelski Express is a special train offer aimed at lovers of skiing and trips to the Alps, organised by the French operator Travelski (part of the Compagnie des Alpes group). Travelski Express package prices

A 7-night package (train + ski) starts at around €600-800 per person in simpler 3-star properties in resorts such as La Rosière or Les Arcs.

Packages at 4- and 5-star properties in popular regions (e.g. Plagne, Tignes) usually start at €900-1000 per person.

The price of Travelski Express packages depends on several key factors, including the date of departure, the ski resort chosen, the standard and category of accommodation, the number of people in the booking and the type of room (e.g. studio, family suite, premium room).

The cost is also influenced by the length of stay, the type of ski pass and the availability of train seats for the date. The final price is therefore set individually depending on the trip configuration and the package variant chosen.

Where to go to the mountains by train? Discover the best destinations

The Travelski Night Express is a seasonal night service designed primarily for winter sports fans, linking Paris with the French Alps at night.

The train departs from Paris Gare de Lyon on Friday evening and arrives on Saturday morning at Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne and Bourg-Saint-Maurice stations - destinations ideally located at the main ski resorts.

The journey takes around eight to nine hours. The return train leaves the Alps on Saturday evening and arrives in Paris on Sunday morning. As a result, you can make the most of your weekend stay in the mountains and not worry about where to park your car!

On board, passengers have at their disposal:

• approximately 660 seats in couchettes (sleeping cars) with duvets, pillows and electrical sockets;

• a bar and restaurant car;

• private areas or dedicated spaces for women travelling alone;

• comfortable space for luggage and ski equipment.

The Travelski Express service from the UK starts at London St Pancras International station. The train arrives at Lille Europe, where there is a change to a service leading to the same terminus stations in the Tarentaise Valley:

The Travelski Express and Travelski Night Express is a solution that has been developed for the winter season and for making the most of a weekend in the Alps. The 'departure on Friday evening - return on Sunday morning' model allows you to reach ski regions quickly and conveniently.

Although the offer currently operates as a seasonal product, focused on ski trips up to and including April, the very model of overnight and direct access to the mountain regions shows potential also in the context of summer tourism. The Travelski Night Express runs during the 2025-2026 winter season on fixed, fixed dates: the train will run a total of 14 pairs of courses between 19 December 2025 and 20 March 2026. Departures from Paris take place on Friday evenings and returns from the Alps on Saturday evenings.
