Connections made in Poland
The Leo Express network in Poland includes connections running through the southern part of the country, including Kraków, Tychy, Rybnik and Mysłowice. It is these cities that are key points on the international route leading to the Czech Republic. The carrier operates, among others, connections from Cracow to Bogumin, which enable passengers to conveniently cross the border and continue their journey to Ostrava, Prague or Pardubice.
Although Leo Express currently focuses primarily on international routes, its presence in Poland is becoming increasingly visible. Polish passengers can travel between Katowice, Cracow, Rybnik, Tychy, Oświęcim, Włoszczowa, Wrocław, Opoczno or Warsaw. The list of Polish cities and towns served by Leo Express is really long.
International calls
The basis of the carrier's activities in Poland are connections to the Czech Republic. Leo Express trains run daily on the route Cracow - Bogumin - Ostrava - Prague, enabling fast and comfortable journeys between the largest cities of Poland and the Czech Republic. In Bogumin and Ostrava, travellers can change to further Leo Express trains towards Brno or Bratislava, making it easy to reach Slovakia from Poland as well.
It is these interchanges that form a coherent transport network within the Leo Express system. Poland is thus an important transit point on the map of Central European connections - connecting the Lesser Poland and Silesia regions with Czech and Slovak cities.
Thejourney time from Cracow to Prague is around seven hours, and the journey takes place in comfort - with access to Wi-Fi, power sockets, air conditioning and on-board service. The high standard of service means that more and more travellers are choosing Leo Express as a comfortable alternative to flying or travelling by car.

New connections from Polish cities
The Czech carrier is not slowing down and announces further investments in the development of the rail network in Poland. As of 1 March 2026, it is planned to launch a new double daily service between Warsaw and Prague, which will run via Krakow. With this route, the Polish capital will be integrated into the main Leo Express corridor, allowing direct travel to the Czech capital without having to change trains.
The plans also include the modernisation and expansion of the fleet - more trainsets are to be equipped with improved propulsion systems and energy-saving solutions. Leo Express is also planning to introduce new stopping points in Poland, especially in regions with high passenger traffic.
The long-term goal is to create a coherent network of domestic connections to complement the international offer. Leo Express in Poland is to become part of a modern, integrated rail transport system in Central Europe.
Poland part of the European Leo Express network
For Leo Express, operating in Poland is not only another market, but also a strategic element of the European route network. Trains running through Polish cities connect to the main routes in the Czech Republic and continue on to Slovakia and Ukraine. As a result, Poland plays a key role in the creation of a coherent mobility system covering the whole of Central Europe.
Leo Express relies on modernity and environmentally friendly technologies. The fleet, based on electric multiple units, is energy-efficient and the booking process is fully digital. The operator plans to invest further in environmental solutions and passenger comfort to make rail travel even more attractive.
