Train operator Eurostar offers three classes of travel:

🚆EurostarStandard - standard travel option - free Wi-Fi, power sockets at the seats, possibility to take two pieces of luggage with an extra small backpack or bag per passenger. Cold dishes, drinks and meals extra chargeable.

🚆EurostarPlus - with more space to work or relax, with more comfortable seats. On the route to and from London, there is an additional choice of two meals and drinks with service. Other amenities as on the Standard option.

🚆EurostarPremier - so-called business class. A menu created by top chefs is available on selected routes. Luggage capacity is also increased. Instead of two, you can take three large suitcases and an extra small backpack or handbag per passenger. Eurostar Premier combines the amenities of Standard and Plus class and also offers access to the Premier business lounges in London, Paris and Brussels.

The choice of class obviously affects the price of the ticket. Children under four years of age travel for free on the train. Travelling in the two cheaper classes, you must turn up 30 minutes before departure to check in if travelling to or from London. For the Premier class, the time is 15 minutes.

Carriage of animals on Eurostar trains

Eurostar allows the carriage of dogs and cats, but only on routes within continental Europe. The carriage of animals on the route to and from London is prohibited. Exceptions are assistance animals and guide dogs. Animals under 6 kg can travel free of charge, for larger dogs a separate ticket must be purchased - ask our Customer Service for one. Assistance animals and guide dogs always travel free of charge.

What Eurostar train connections are available?

Eurostar trains run from central London from London St Pancras station to European cities. They stop at stations:

• Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal in the Netherlands.
• Brussels Midi in Belgium.
• Lille Europe and Paris Nord in France.

In addition, inter-city train services between mainland European cities between France, the Netherlands and Belgium are available .

The price of a Eurostar train journey depends on really many factors. If you want to hunt for cheap tickets, there are various options available:

Yes, Eurostar ticket prices are variable. The earlier you book your journey, the less you will pay. The highest advance fares start from PLN 320 for the London St Pancras International-Paris Nord route. Buying overnight, the cheapest ticket is available from PLN 1167 in Standard class. So, by planning your Eurostar train journey in advance, you can save up to 70%.

Due to the highly dynamic nature of ticket prices, it is worth looking carefully at when Eurostar train travel is cheapest. As we've already mentioned, it's better to buy tickets in advance, but it's also worth paying attention to the day of the week you plan to travel.

Tickets for connections from Friday to Sunday are more expensive than on the other days of the week.

If you want to pay less, choose connections during off-peak hours. The differences can reach several hundred zloty one way.

The train operator Eurostar offers discounts for travellers. The types of discounts vary depending on whether you are travelling from or to London or between cities in continental Europe.

Travelling between London and continental Europe

If you are travelling by train between the UK and France, the Netherlands or Belgium, you can benefit from discounts:

for children - children under 4 years of age travel for free, and those aged 4-11 years can receive a discount of up to 30% on Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus classes during peak hours and 30-50% during off-peak hours. Discounts do not apply in the Eurostar Business Premier class.

For wheelchair users - if you buy a ticket in Standard class you can travel in Plus class. Eurostar trains are equipped with wheelchair spaces.

For companions - if you are travelling with someone with a disability, you can travel for the price of a Standard ticket in Plus class.

Concessions for travel in continental Europe

If you use Eurostar services, you can buy train tickets for journeys between Paris, Lille, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels at a cheaper rate. For whom are there concessions?

Children - up to 4 years old travel for free, ages 4-11 years old get a 50% discount on Standard and Plus classes.

People with disabilities and carers - the price of Standard class includes travel in Business Premier class for a wheelchair user and their companion.

Young people under 26 - those aged 12-26 can expect a discount of 20% on Standard class and 15% on Plus and Premier classes. Young people under 18 must travel with an adult or have a guardian's permission to travel independently.

Seniors - those aged 60 and over can expect a 10% discount.

Group tickets - groups of more than 10 people can expect special discounts. You can make a booking using the form or by contacting Customer Service.

Eurostar trains between London and Paris run 18 times a day. This is the carrier's most popular route. The first service from St Pancras International station to France starts at 6:01 a.m., the last at 8:01 p.m. The train in central Paris at Gare du Nord station is 2 hours 28 minutes later, due to the fast crossing of the English Channel.

The most expensive tickets are from 9:31-11:31 - priced from PLN 698.

The cheapest connections from PLN 320 are from 19:31-20:01.

The prices quoted for a Eurostar train journey between London and Paris are for a standard fare without discounts in Class 2 Standard.
