Pendolino trains

Trains commonly known as [Pendolino](), or Express InterCity Premium trains have been running in Poland since 14 December 2014, serving connections between major Polish cities. Pendolino are the fastest trains in Poland, developing speeds of up to 250 km/h. Pendolino trains do not stop at every station they pass, which significantly shortens the journey time. The comfort of the time spent in the train is guaranteed by such amenities as electrical sockets to which a laptop can be plugged, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a quiet zone.

Intercity trains

Express InterCity trains are part of the Intercity family of trains run by various train operators throughout Europe. Travelling on an Intercity train is characterised by a high maximum speed and a small number of intermediate stations, making it part of the high-speed connections. Intercity trains operate between the largest Polish cities such as Kraków, Warsaw, Wrocław, Gdańsk, Zakopane, Poznań or Bydgoszcz, thus connecting south to north and east to west Poland. Automated doors, a low floor and a specially adapted and spacious interior mean that Intercity trains are also well suited to disabled passengers.
