What are the opening hours of the Christmas markets in Berlin?

Opening hours vary for each location, but as a standard the markets operate within the following timeframe:

• Monday-Thursday: from approximately 12:00 to 21:00/22:00

• Friday-Sunday: from approximately 11:00 to 22:00/23:00

On Christmas Eve (24 December) the hours are shortened (usually until 14:00) and on Christmas Day (25 and 26 December) the markets open later (e.g. from 13:00) and operate until the evening. The market on Breitscheidplatz is open the longest, until 4 January 2026.
