Cash refund for the ticket you bought? It is possible! In August, a competition is waiting for those booking journeys through our website. Each week, the polishtrains.eu team will select one person to receive a refund of up to PLN 500! We encourage you to take part and present the people who are already among the winners.

How to win a cash refund for your train ticket?
Are you looking forward to a holiday escapade? Or are you going to visit family or on a business trip? And additionally do you think that the train is one of the best ways to travel? Then this competition is also for you! Find out the rules and take part today.
Search for the connection you are interested in and **buy a ticket via polishtrains.eu.**Then enter the competition website(it's here)and register your booking. The last task is to answer the competition question: "Why is it worth taking the train on holiday?".
Every week on Tuesday, the polishtrains.eu team will choose one person whose answer is the most creative, original or engaging and will make a refund of up to PLN 500 from the submitted booking
What's important: the remaining entries will be considered for the next competition week - so the earlier you buy your ticket, the more chances you get to win!

Settlement of the competition 02.08.2022
The first winner in our holiday competition was Ms Larysa, who bought a ticket on the route Warsaw East -> Gdańsk Główny When asked why it was worth taking the train on holiday, she replied:
Because you don't have to worry as much about the weight of your suitcase as you do at the airport! Anyone who has tried at least once to pack for a couple of days' holiday and fit into the limits set by the airlines will surely agree with this statement!

The next winner in our holiday competition is Mr Michal, who purchased a ticket on the route Toruń Główny -> Warsaw Centralna His answer is presented below:
In the summer, every moment is wasted, so it's best, my dears, to hop on a train and say goodbye to Warsaw. And in a few hours' time, you'll be welcomed by a farmer. Unless you're a fan of Masuria, then you'll see glazed waters. But if you prefer the sea, that's where the train will take you.
You can travel all over Poland quickly and cheaply by train! Thank you for putting it in such a poetical way 🙂 .

Congratulations to Ms. Justyna, who together with her child took a train journey on the route Bielsko-Biała Główna -> Warsaw Centralna! Her answer to the question why it is worth taking a train on holiday is as follows:
Because it's worth it to relive the feeling I had when I was a child, and train travel on holidays was something as obvious as flying by plane now. I want my daughter to experience the same thing. Passing on the travel bug to your child is very important, and showing them the delights of using the railways is something we definitely support!

This week we have decided to award TWO people! They made an excellent case for choosing the train as the mode of transport for their holiday trips - we couldn't pass by their answers indifferently. Read for yourselves: Ms Zuzanna, who bought a ticket from Katowice to Kielce:
It is worth going on holiday by train in my opinion for two main reasons. It is much more ecological and good for the environment than travelling by car or plane. In addition, especially carriages with compartments, are a great place to get to know perhaps potential holiday companions and friends for years to come.
And Mr Marek, who travelled with us on the Jedlina-Zdrój -> Wałbrzych route.
PKP means not only greener and cheaper travel, but also tasty food and the possibility to relax during the journey. You can choose a quiet carriage or one where you can meet new friends. Travelling by train is a guarantee of arriving at your destination without surprises.
Settlement of the competition 06.09.2022
Ms Agnieszka, who bought tickets from us from Warsaw to Berlin, is the last winner of this edition of the holiday competition! When asked why she chose the train, she wrote: "It's because I can get from the city centre to Berlin.
Because I can get from the city centre to my destination and thus save time and money on transfers to the airport and on getting to the centre by public transport. I have all the sights and attractions right at my fingertips. Besides, I like travelling by train, you can take a walk during the journey, stretch your legs and eat something good in the restaurant car :). Besides, such a journey is more ecological than by car or plane and uses less CO2 🙂 .
This is exactly what we think and we love trains for the same!
