• Flooding in September 2024 suspended services on Jelenia Gora - Kamieniec Zabkowicki and Zielona Gora - Wroclaw sections
• Some international trains via south-western Poland were diverted or cancelled entirely
• PKP Intercity tickets were accepted on Kolej Dolnoslaskich and POLREGIO on selected diverted sections
• Replacement bus services were organised only on specific affected sections - not network-wide
• Passengers could request full refunds through the PolishTrains refunds form under the flood-related scheme
• Service announcements changed daily; checking the PolishTrains timetable before each journey was essential

Until further notice, "PKP Intercity" S.A. tickets are mutually honoured on the trains of Koleje Dolnośląskie S.A. and POLREGIO S.A. on the route Zielona Góra Główna - Wrocław Główny - Zielona Góra Główna.

Due to the flooding, PKP Intercity has introduced special rules for refunding and honouring tickets for the carrier's journeys:

📅in domestic transport, purchased by 15.09.2024 and valid for travel between 14-30.09.2024,

📅in international transport, purchased by 18.09.2024 and valid for travel between 13.09-09.10.2024.

• ticket bought on 12.09 for a 26.09 travel - 100% refundable!

• ticket bought on 15.09 for a 27.09 domestic journey - 100% refundable!

• ticket bought on 16.09 for a domestic journey on 25.09 - not subject to the 100% refund option!

• ticket bought on 17.09 for international travel 23.09 - subject to 100% refund*!
