IC 5322 Nida train – route and timetable
IC 5322 Nida is an InterCity train connecting Giżycko with Kraków Główny, arriving after more than eight hours of travel. Along the way it passes several dozen stations, including Ełk, Białystok Zielone Wzgórza, Szepietowo, Tłuszcz and Warszawa Zachodnia, stopping at 25 stations in total. It is one of the few direct connections between Mazury and southern Poland.
For travellers from Giżycko and the surrounding area, Nida can be a practical choice, as the route passes through several important railway hubs, including Warszawa Zachodnia. On this section, more passengers board the train to continue south, so the train can be busier in the second part of the route than at the beginning.
The ticket price on this route depends primarily on the selected train category: tickets on TLK are the cheapest, while on IC Intercity, which Nida operates as, they cost several times more. You can check the current timetable for the Nida train in the PolishTrains search engine by entering your chosen departure date. It is worth buying a ticket some time in advance, especially during busy periods, when the availability of seats at lower prices decreases more quickly.
The travel standard follows from the IC category – it is a more comfortable train than PolRegio, with a higher standard of seating. You can buy a return ticket for the Giżycko–Kraków route on PolishTrains by selecting both travel dates at once. Creating an account is not required, and payment can be made using BLIK.
