IC 1646 Konopnicka train – route and timetable
IC 1646 Konopnicka is a PKP Intercity train running from Warszawa Wschodnia to Jelenej Góry, with the entire journey taking over six hours. The train stops at 21 stations, including Warszawa Centralna, Skierniewice, Radomsko, Lubliniec and Oława, connecting the capital with cities in central and south-western Poland.
Such a long route is particularly suitable for passengers who want to travel without changing trains from Mazovia all the way to Lower Silesia, avoiding the need to change trains in Warsaw or Wrocław. The large number of stops along the way also means that Konopnicka is a convenient option for shorter sections of the route, for example between Skierniewice and Radomsko.
The price of a ticket for IC 1646 mainly depends on the selected train category. Travel in the IC Intercity standard is the cheapest, while Pendolino is the most expensive, with the difference between them sometimes being several times greater. When buying a ticket for this route, PolishTrains shows all available price categories alongside one another, making it easy to compare the comfort of a standard InterCity with the faster but more expensive Pendolino or the cheaper TLK.
Among passengers departing from Warszawa Wschodnia, the largest group, 34 per cent, buys tickets one or two days before travelling. Interest in this route increases noticeably in August. A ticket for Konopnicka can be purchased on PolishTrains without creating an account, and payment can conveniently be made via BLIK.
