IC 1712 Kiliński train – route and timetable
Kiliński is an IC-category train operated by PKP Intercity, running from Warszawa Wschodnia to Poznań Główny. The journey takes over two hours, and the train stops at, among other places, Warszawa Centralna, Sochaczew, Kutno, Konin and Września. These are twelve stops linking the capital with Greater Poland in one direct service.
You can buy a ticket for the selected Kilińskiego service in the PolishTrains search engine by entering the station and travel date. You can also use the same train for shorter sections, for example from Sochaczew to Września, without having to buy a ticket for the entire route.
The cheapest tickets on this route are offered by the IC Intercity category, while travelling by Pendolino costs more. Passengers usually buy a ticket for the Kilińskiego service one to three days before departure. After buying a ticket through PolishTrains, you receive it immediately by SMS and in the app, so you do not need to print anything before entering the platform.
The IC standard means more comfortable seats than on TLK, but without the higher speed characteristic of Pendolino. Kiliński is therefore sometimes chosen by people who value comfort without paying extra for the fastest category. You can buy a ticket for this service and, if necessary, refund it online through PolishTrains, without having to create an account.
