PKP Katowice – Sosnowiec. Train timetable

If you're entitled to statutory discounts – use them, as with such frequent commutes you'll feel a real difference to your wallet.

Travel from Katowice to Sosnowiec takes place without long stops, without unnecessary detours, simply via the shortest route. As a result the journey takes about as long as a few tram stops, and you arrive closer to the heart of Sosnowiec, from where you're just a moment away from offices, bureaux, universities or important public transport interchange points.

Pendolino and EIC minimise the number of stops, which translates into journey speed, but even standard IC trains keep pace and get you there in just over ten minutes. On the return – when you're heading back to Katowice in the evening – it's just as easy to catch a train back, as the timetable works symmetrically and doesn't require a long wait on the platform.
