Pendolino statutory discounts - can I use them?

Every PKP statutory discount also applies to Pendolino:

🔹**[student discount](##BRAK## - students under 26 can receive a 51% discount on PKP journeys in second class on TLK, IC, EIP and EIC trains. To use the discount, you must have a valid student ID issued by a Polish higher education institution or an international ISIC card, as well as a document confirming the right of permanent residence in Poland. If the student ID does not have a valid stamp, payment of the difference up to the full ticket price may be required.

Karta Dużej Rodziny 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Karta Dużej Rodziny allows families to benefit from PKP discounts, including on Pendolino. Cardholders can receive discounts of 30% on tickets for at least two people travelling together. In addition, this discount can be combined with other statutory discounts, such as discounts for children, young people and people with disabilities, allowing for greater savings during the journey.

It is worth adding that the discount applies not only to second-class journeys, but also to travel in first class, although additional statutory discounts will not apply in this case.

Bilet Rodzinny Pendolino 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

To use the discount, the journey must include between 2 and 5 people, including at least one child under 16. Bilet Rodzinny cannot be combined with statutory discounts.

Why choose Pendolino Warsaw–Gdańsk? The price compared with the journey time is very attractive, and passengers can also expect an exceptional level of comfort. Passengers can choose seats in the Quiet Zone – a special area on Express InterCity Premium trains, created for people seeking peace and quiet during their Pendolino journey. The quiet zone in the carriages has 61 seats. Passengers are not permitted to use mobile phones, talk to other passengers or operate electronic devices without muting their sounds. People wishing to listen to music or watch films must use headphones. This is an excellent option for those who want to work or read in peace.

Pendolino trains have a family compartment, which is an ideal solution for families travelling with young children. An adult accompanying a child under 6 can reserve a seat in this compartment. Other families can also use the compartment, provided that at least one child in the group is under 6.
